Settings to drop first
- Volumetric fog: High → Medium — the single biggest GPU hog.
- Ray-traced reflections: On → Off — costs 25-35% fps for marginal visual gain.
- Shadow density: Ultra → High — invisible difference, 8-10% gain.

Game requires 60 GB on launch (RE Engine streams uncompressed audio). DLSS / FSR / XeSS all supported. Steam Deck verified for 540p / 30fps low.
